The previous version, which is Qt Datavisualization, keeps the selected point even after the series was removed.

This seems strange since the series is removed but it still has the selected point when the same series is generated.

It can be found on graphs gallery example, surface graph

1. Select any point of first graph
2. change to another series
3. select any points of second graph (optional)
4. goes beck to first graph
5. the selected point remains.

The behaviour seems reasonable but in depth, the first series is removed when it changes to  the second series.

Should we keep it in this way?
