Description
At first I thought that the qt-project.org misses the "Online Communities" page where e.g. IRC channels are mentioned. In fact, it is pretty much there under "Contribute" part (which makes sense).
In theory, that could stand out more. For example, adding another "block" like:
—
<Contribute>
/* all the things about contributing */
<Communicate>
If the help is needed, you can get support from the community on different platforms:
- Qt Forum (and for additional guidance you could look at https://wiki.qt.io/Forum_Help)
- Mailing Lists
Additionally, there are multiple places where you could discuss Qt related things, just chat and also get help:
- IRC (on the Freenode network) - the official communication channel
- Discord
- Telegram
- ...
... and more. Visit https://wiki.qt.io/Online_Communities page for a comprehensive list of communities
—
We can mention a few most popular ones - need to choose these somehow.
Maybe we could even add some communication channel links (in the form of icons) to the header of the page so that whoever visits the qt-project website is tempted to click on those and join right away.
