Add a way to update the solution/vxcproj when the pro changes to avoid full rebuild

When working in Visual Studio with Qt VS Tools and I need to change something about my project such as add a resource file, or rename a source file or anything really affecting the .pro, then I am forced in VS to regenerate the solution by reopening the .pro file.

This works, but the main downside is that it then rebuilds the entire project. 

Can a way be added to reparse the .pro file, or not force the rebuild or something else, to alleviate this?
