Description
The tracing macros expand to something meaningful if and only if Qt is built with tracing enabled.
This means that one risk breaking a -trace build of Qt by refactoring code etc. without adjusting the code in the tracing macros.
Could it be possible to have a test configuration that also tests -trace?
It could be
- added as a brand new config, or
- an existing debug build simply modified to have it.
It's really just about building Qt, no need to build/run tests example etc.; the tracing backends supported are Linux and Windows, so either (or even better both) kind of platforms would be nice to have.
