Description
The Gurock customer support has provided following response to the question regarding the tailoring of the push bug from TestRail UI to Jira.
Default setting in TestRail for pushing bug to Jira without opening the Jira web UI itself contains a field for setting the priority. Qt Jira bug workflow settings currently do not allow to set the priority when adding bug, it needs to be added afterwards and it is done typically by bug triaging people.
Use the information to tailor all the fields.
"Thanks for reaching out! If you'd like to pre-fill data from the TestRail test when pushing a defect you can add whatever fields from the test case using the defect template to push to the JIRA issue description.
__ You can add this under the defect plugin settings on the page at Administration > Integration. If you've not used it before, you'll see a link at the bottom that says "Enter a template..." that when clicked will produce a large text field. Once you've got the template field open, you can press the "Add Field" link and select the fields you want to have automatically pushed to the JIRA issue description. This will add a variable into the template field, which you can then format to your liking so the data is organized how you'd like.
__ I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions and I'll be here to assist"
