Tentative items to Mobility 1.3

Summary

These items are tentative and under consideration as potential candidates, but not committed.

Augmented Reality:
The AR APIs provide processed data from GPS, compass, and HW sensors. The APIs utilize the camera and maps as well as provide means to handle Point of Interest (POIs).
Built on QtMobility APIs: Camera, Location, Sensors.

Voice UI:
A Qt Mobility Speech framework used to add speech synthesis and recognition functionality into applications making them voice enabled. Speech synthesis functionality converts normal language text into speech. Speech recognition recognizes spoken commands, i.e. enables command and control functionality. Speech synthesis and recognition can be utilized in applications like voice dialing, music search and navigation.

Presence API:
API to manage presence information such as management of status info and buddies.

Face APIs:
An API to manage detecting faces in a particular image. Finding the best match for a given face in the image.
Tracking faces in a sequence of images.

Accounts API:
Creation and management of multiple accounts for messaging, calender, IM and so on.
