Paging API needed for fetch request

To optimize data access it would be extremely helpful to pass paging information with fetch requests: Often only few contacts are visible at a given time, and it is not very useful to fetch all matching contacts. Two attributes "offset" and "limit" could be added. They would work similar to those keywords in SQL or SPARQL.
