Qt Location QML plugin cannot be found

I've tried to compile Qt Location master using Visual C++ 2008 and Qt SDK 1.1.3 with Qt 4.7.4 as follows:

git clean -dfx
git pull
./configure -modules location -debug
jom
jom install

Afterwards I've tried to compile and run a QML application.

At run there was a debug message saying that "declarative_location" was not found.

After looking at C:\QtSDK\Desktop\Qt\4.7.4\msvc2008\imports\QtMobility\location\ I've seen that
there was a dll file there namely: declarative_locationd1.dll

I suspect qmake is the culprit, falsely sufixing the dll name with 1.
