Incorrect behaviour in VKB in AlphaNumerate Keyboard and with Predictive Text

      Steps to reproduce:

      Click to place caret in the multiline TextArea, the VKB launch, set to Alpha Numerate Keyboard with Predictive input.

      press "2", A is displayed

      Now long press * to launch symbol input, and choose "@"

      The expected result is TextArea show A@

      The actual result is TextArea show AA@

      The pre-edit text is commited twice.

      Everytime we type a symbol after an alphabet , the alphabet is copied again along wid the symbol.I will raise a QT bug and update the same here.
