      Summary
      The System Information API should provide functions to control system properties(setters) in addition to getter functions.

      Use Cases

      • As a developer I can control display state (on, off, dimmed)
      • As a developer, I can control display brightness
      • As a developer, I can lock my application to a certain UI orientation (landscape, portrait).
      • As a developer, I can handle autolock feature.(e.g. Maps application handles autolock differently. Screen saver is not activated even when the device is in Autolock state)
      • As a developer, I can set phone profile.
