qt6 install: no Qt platform plugin could be initialized

    • Received update from Google which rebuilt linux, i no longer see the problem. Can not reproduce.

      fresh install of Chrome OS 88; linux Beta Debian Buster.
      ran update/upgrade
      Downloaded qt-unified-linux-x64-4.0.1-online.run
      chhmod 777 and ran it.
      Took all defaults.
      choose Qt6 as the only option for install.
      Ran install without a problem.
      At the end of the install received the following
      error message:

      qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found.
      This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

      tried to launch Qt Creator via icon. it would not start.
