Crash on launch in 10.6.8

      qt 4.7.4 universal built from source installed in /usr/local
      qt 4.8.2 binary frameworks installed in /Developer

      2.4.1 release does not crash. Please see attached dump.txt. Apparently QSystemLocale::query(QSystemLocale::QueryType, QVariant) which calls CFArrayGetCount() dereferences 0.
