C++ Code Style Preferences not saving

Edit > Preferences > C++

The settings I change in here don't seem to save. For example if I go to the Braces tab and un-check all the tick boxes, then click Apply and OK, then re-open the preferences all of the tick boxes are checked again.

If I open up the XML file in ~/.config/QtProject/qtcreator/codestyles/Cpp the settings are correct in there but the behaviour in the text editer isn't correct.

Un-check all the boxes in the Braces tab:

Press Apply and OK, then re-open preferences and they are all checked again?
