When updating MCU kits to newer MCU version, valid paths are shown to be invalid

When you're updating MCU kits (e.g. from 2.2 -> 2.3), some of the valid paths may be shown as invalid paths, even if these paths are still pointing to directories with valid contents. Choosing the same directory again fixes the issue and kits can be created afterwards.
