Pausing does not work with remote debug

    Description

      It seems pausing does not work in 9.0.0-beta. When trying to pause, this is shown in the log and nothing happens:

      State changed from InferiorRunOk(7) to InferiorStopRequested(9)
CALL: INTERRUPT INFERIOR
Attempting to interrupt.
Stop requested...
TRYING TO INTERRUPT INFERIOR
