Qt Creator 8: is LSP logging mandatory?

I was doing some profiling while typing text to see where some of the slowness and lags sometimes come from and noticed a lot of lag coming from Lsp's logger. Is this logger necessary in a "normal" usage of the software or could it be put as an opt-in thing ? I tried disabling it locally and haven't seen issues yet.
