Dot-to-arrow completion seems to depend on the context.
It works nicely for assignments, but fails in the function parameter list.

typedef struct Foo {
int bar;
} Foo;
void baz(Foo *foo)
{
// typing "foo.bar" is correctly completed to foo->bar here
foo->bar = 42;
// and here too
int i = foo->bar;
// but typing "foo.bar" here is *not* corrected
