Android: Cmake based Quick Application does neither compile nor run

Steps to reproduce:

• have Qt 5.12.2 for Android set up and ndk 19.2.5.. (beside this I had sdk 26.1.1 and an old android Nexus 7 armv7)
• create a Quick Application from template and select cmake as build system

Current result:

• I cannot build the project (so run/debug fails obviously as well)
