Description
I am having reproducible case where on second start of Qt Creator entire desktop gets messed up. Here is my setup.
I am running on Mac OS X Mojave with latest Parallels 14. I installed (guest) Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop with all latest updates as of today (Oct 29 2018). Next I installed Qt 5.11.2 with Qt Creator 4.7.1. Now the problem is that on every SECOND start of Qt Creator entire desktop bets mess-up.
- Start Qt Creator (no need to open project, but opening does not change anything)
- Quit Qt Creator
- Start Qt Creator again
- Desktop is unusable
Also noticed (pointer in red arrow) that CPU is at 100%
Also clicking on any visible desktop icons I can't open anything. Also desktop background is gone.
Perhaps this is problem with Parallels (Parallels tools installed), Another 16.04 works just fine
I also notified Parallels and submitted "Send Technical Data"
A technical report with the ID number 282192457 has been sent to Parallels.
