Description
- Go to "Tools" -> "Options…" -> "Debugger" -> "General".
- Toggle "Use Qt Creator for post-mortem debugging"
- Click "OK" and quit Creator.
- Start an application independently of Creator.
- Crash this application.
Windows will report the crash to Microsoft but will not offer starting Creator for debugging.
Windows should propose Creator for debugging when an application crashed. This used to work. It might have broken with the Windows updates to the Creators Update (1703) or Fall Creators Update (1709).
If this cannot be fixed, the option should be removed from Creator's Options dialog.
