1. Have a Qt version in PATH.
2. Start Creator with empty settings, e.g. by using the parameter -settingspath.
3. Create a new Qt Console Application project which uses the automatically created default kit.
4. Build and run this project.
   It will run without a window and write its output to the Application Output view.
5. Go to Projects mode.
6. Click on the Run configuration without changing anything.
   "Run in Terminal" is already checked.
7. Run the application again.
   Now it will run in a terminal window.

The application should run in the same way from the beginning. For this kind of project, it should always run in a terminal.
