"Import existing build" does not set Qt version

I opened a project in Creator and selected a shadow build directory with an existing build.
When I select a different Qt version in build settings and click on "Import existing build", Creator does not update the Qt version to the one used for the existing build. Calls to qmake and make are updated, though.
