At least a couple of tools on the Mac such as BBedit show the autocomplete using the same size font as the editor. If you need a large font, then you will not be able to read the autocomplete box. Also when demoing Qt Creator and using a huge font no one can see what is going on with autocomplete as it is so tiny.
