FakeVim - ":w", ":wq" frequently fails with "File not saved"

      I'm unable to determine a pattern, but at some point a FakeVim window will just stop saving files using the commands ":w" or ":wq", while there is no problem saving with the menu or keyboard shortcuts(Ctrl+Shift+S).

      This bug is long standing as I've seen it for the last year on every version of QtCreator I've used.
