[Spike] Figure out if Core: Animation Framework is still relevant to Qt Core

      Currently there's an animation framework distributed as part of Qt Core. We need to understand if it still makes sense to support/maintain it as part of Qt Core or not.

      It seems that there is no active maintainer of that code part at the moment.

      Animations can be done in a declarative fashion through Qt Quick (and brief check suggests that some framework parts are used in Qt Quick e.g. QAbstractAnimation).
