Linux/Bluez
Description
Running a Yocto building of Linux with BlueZ 5.39 on a TI AM437x ARM board. I built the Linux using Yocto using the meta-qt layer with the Qt 5.7 branch. Also created a cross-compile environment to use with Qt Creator. the heartrate example builds and deploys to my target but I cannot see the service with my iPad running the LightBlue App.
We've been using a gatt server based on the BlueZ python dbus api gatt server and that has be working pretty well. I want to re-write that in C/C++. I starting doing that using the Qt dbus api but came across the Qt 5.7 QBluetooth api and wanted to understand if that would be better way to go but I need to understand how mature and suitable it would be at this point.
I am struggling a bit with the dbus API and hoped QBluetooth would be an easier route. It looks like QBluetooth is talking directly to the hci layer? Is Bluez 5.39 a supported or tested platform?
Any help, information, or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
