    mainW.setPlainText("bla");
    QTextDocument *doc =  mainW.document();
    QTextOption opt = doc->defaultTextOption();
    opt.setFlags(opt.flags() | QTextOption::ShowLineAndParagraphSeparators);
    doc->setDefaultTextOption(opt);
