Widget is set up to grab pan and pinch gestures.
When trying to use two finger pan or pinch with Synaptics touch pad, unexpected mouse wheel events arrive instead of gesture events.

The same scenario works fine with touch screen on the same system - pan and pinch events arrive as expected.

Additional observation: Zoom with two fingers using touch pad seems to work as expected in Chrome browser.
