ArchLinux, nvidia optimus configured as per https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NVIDIA_Optimus#Using_nvidia
Description
This is a bug report resulting from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347237
On Linux systems using a nvidia optimus setup with PRIME, QtQuick's animations play back way too fast, as if they somehow used a wrong estimate for the refresh rate. This leads to sped-up animations and excessive CPU usage.
A minimal test case can be found here: https://github.com/CounterPillow/spinnertest
This may be related to nvidia not having implemented PRIME fencing at the moment, see https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/775691/linux/vsync-issue-nvidia-prime-ux32vd-with-gt620-m-/post/4430873/#4430873
