LineFeeds can not be deleted in QML TextEdit

With split screen vkb linefeed can not be deleted from TextEdit

LineFeed cannot be deleted with split screen vkb.

Steps:
Open the attached MyTextEdit.qml
Write text and add linefeeds
Delete linefeeds

Expected result:
Linefeeds can be deleted

Actual result:
Linefeeds can not be deleted. When you press delete button from split screen vkb at a linefeed nothing happens.
