Description
Steps to reproduce:
- compile and run pure-qml example (run it as described in https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtvirtualkeyboard-deployment-guide.html#using-qt-virtual-keyboard-with-qt-wayland )
- create a very simple qml application which uses WebEngineView (example provided below).
- run it as described in previous link (add -platform wayland)
- try to type something using on the duck's search line edit. On my computer the virtual keyboard gets closed immediately.
simple qml example:
import QtQuick import QtQuick.Window import QtWebEngine Window { id: window width: 640 height: 480 visible: true title: qsTr("Hello World") WebEngineView { id: webview url: "https://duckduckgo.com" anchors.fill: parent } }
