setMarkdown in QTextEdit with a valid QString doesn't work

Hallo,

I have a QTextEdit which shows my own generated QImage.

If I pull the input from textEdit with toMarkdown() and set the same QString I get from toMarkdown() back to the textEdit with setMarkdown(sameString) I doesn't work.

If I make the same with toHtml() and setHtml it works.
