Description
We are developing a mobile app that is to be used on iOS and on Android devices. The apple store requires that the app is able to handle the display notch of modern iPhones, but we were unable to find reliable information how this could possibly be implmeneted.
While we were eventially able to find a way using Qt.MaximizeUsingFullscreenGeometryHint, and lots of platform-dependent code that passes screen information from C++ to QML, we wonder if our implementation is correct or works only by chance.
We would greatly appreciate if the documentation specified a best-practise, platform-independent implementation (perhaps including an example) that works across platforms and is supported in the long term.
Best wishes,
Stefan Kebekus.
