Issues include:

For TextInput in a vertical flickable, selecting text should 'disable' flicking (patch at http://codepaster-nokia.troll.no/?id=29338)
A TextEdit in a flickable needs to decide whether to do selection or flicking on mouse movement. Maybe add a flag like enableMouseSelection/defaultMouseSelection.
The above flag interaction with readOnly and focusOnPress will need to be thought through (should these elements do anything with the mouse when unfocused?)
