Remote repository sync can fail silently

Remote repository update launched from Jenkins on the repository server can fail silently if SSH 'kex_exchange_identification' error is received when running rsync over SSH or AWS sync fails with timeout with 2 retries.

Jenkins job does not receive any information about the failed script run on the repository server and completes successfully.

SSH, AWS sync errors should be caught and Jenkins job should fail in these kind of situations.
