User cannot drag and drop textures from TEXTURES -field to a material in MATERIAL -field

In Material Browser:

User can add texture from TEXTURES -field to a material in MATERIAL -field via context menu option "Apply to selected material" but user cannot drag and drop textures from TEXTURES -field to a material in MATERIAL -field.
