Description
Tested with the latest snapshot of QDS 3.9 (Build with qt 6.4.0, Kit 6.4.1) in online installer (staging) on Windows.
- 3D Editor grid gets sometimes weird colors and some of the lines are missing. Please see attached pictures. So far I've seen the grid either blue or red or just some of the grid lines missing, as in picture 3D_editor_2.png. Attached also a picture of what the grid normally looks like on Windows.
- Seems to happen really randomly, but here are some steps that can be tried to reproduce:
-
- Launch DS
- Create a 3D project
- Open 3D Editor
- -> grid color can have a abnormal color
- Sometimes this happens after importing some 3D asset or creating a material so those can be tried if steps above did not trigger the issue
- For me this might have happened more likely if I used a workspace that has 3D view but it's not currently active when project opens. One such workspace attached.
- Try several times -> might happen at some point...
- After zooming in/out in 3D Editor, issue seems to go away and 3D Editor looks normal again
