Currently the designer components in Qt DS depened on the Quick Controls 2 library.

Tooling for the QC2 components has been done as afterthought and there exists little guidance how to make good UI with the QC2 elements.

Create more building blocks to designer components

• item that takes item but you can clip it
  • create progressbar without coding (Knud)
• calendar widget as pull-in element
• state group that follows property of checkbox (for example)
• fly-in animation with few parameters
  • any child object can be animated
  • no need to play with timeline
