Thumbnail and 2D view renders incorrectly after changing settings

I am testing the new States view in the snapshot built on Sep 20 2022 02:36:03.

I have two states, the only difference is the background color. It is white in Base state and red in the other state.

If I in the second state now turn on either Explicit or Restore values, the background color for base state changes to red in the thumbnail in the States view but also in the 2D view. The actual color value does not change.

When I reset the 2D view, it returns to the correct white color in both places.
