States, transitions, and timeline are extremely complicated

Currently, it's rather unclear what are the best practices for using the timeline, state transitions and managing them. The following features make using the tool very complicated:

• States, state transitions, state property changes.
• Possibility to create 1 or more timelines, and one or more animations per timeline.
• Creating property changes + timeline animation in a state. What to expect?
• State transition editor adds more complexity to the mix. Also seems to produce bloated code.

The usability of those features should be rethought if we can make them easier.
