Evaluate Font Hinting for Icon Font

As part of our research into creating the Icon Font web app i discovered a font hinting tool for ttf fonts, i would like to test this tool as a post processing step for our icon font generation. Particularly how it affects small icons at lower resolutions. In theory it could help with this, which is a weak spot for the icon font pipeline.
