Qt5 project: 3D Editor freezes after clicking any of the 3D Editor toolbar buttons

Steps to reproduce:

• Create a Qt5 targeted 3D project
• Open 3D editor
• Click any of the buttons in 3D Editor toolbar, e.g. Activate rotate tool -button
• -> 3D Editor freezes: cannot select anything, rotate the view etc

Does not reproduce in Qt6 projects
