Description
What
Design view can show all the windows (forms) and dialogs of the project as artboards
The designer can navigate between the views by zooming and panning in order to interact with any of the views and their contents
Managing artboards
o Orientation: portrait/landscape
o Resize
Constrain proportions
o Rename
o Add, move, and delete
o Rearrange artboards
Why
• The designer can quickly navigate between the designs in order to work with them (e.g. copy/paste components, check styles and consistency of the design).
• When all the views/dialogs are visible at the same time, the designer can start to draft a task flow by placing the related views/dialogs next to each other. This is handy, especially If the tool supports flow design, as the designer can then draw the navigation flow easily
