Timeline ruler gets unreadable with lots of frames (thousands)

When the timeline has a lot of frames, into the thousands, the ruler measure text is no longer readable, maybe we can switch to using either just the first number for each thousand frames, or the first number followed by a (k) for each thousand frames and then only switch to 100's or 10's when the appropriate zoom level is reached.
